Friendship in diversity

Although religious conflicts torn numerous towns in Myanmar, young girls from different ethnic groups and different faiths, came to capital Yangon to work; share an apartment for living. Even though they have different dreams and differences in faiths, they live together in harmony to prove that friendship can be built. They believe that Religions cannot divide them. 

Photographer Htoo Tay Zar documented this ‘Friendship in Diversity’ story as part of the ‘Unity in Diversity’ project developed by Myanmar Deitta in 2013.
